It was Father's Day and we decided to dine at this restaurant for the first time. I passed by this restaurant many times, as I sometimes head to Balestier Market for lunch. It is famous for their fish head bee hoon and of course we need to order it. It is quite tasty. Soup is light but flavorful. They also gave quite a few pieces of fish. You could so add XO to the soup but of course that comes with additional charge. I must also recommend the prawn paste chicken. Very tasty and super crispy. As it was Father's Day, the owner gave each table 寿桃. Complimentary of course. A very nice touch. Overall a nice dinner. Food is good. Not too oily. Not at all salty. There is a crowd, but we still managed to find seats. But there were a lot of people taking away. Will definitely come back again and this time adding that XO into the soup!

Loved the fish soup beehoon - soup is fragrant with Chinese wine and big chunks of fish meat. This dish alone is worth the visit. The sambal kangkong also delish with generous sambal heebee. The steam meat patty dish was smooth and fresh tasting. Sam lor horfun as expected and the oyster omelette had succulent oysters served. Served within 5-10mins.

Ordered delivery from this place - used to eat here with family when I was younger about 8 years ago - glad to say the taste and prices haven’t changed much ! I love eating their XO fish head/fish meat bee Hoon as it is very flavourful and the broth is creamy and thick esp for rainy days. Was hit by the nostalgia when I ordered from them ! The fish head soup had alot of fish head meat, though with bones it was still a lot of meat, ratio of meat to soup was probably 2.5:1 sia Their Yang Chou fried rice still tastes great, not too salty and the wok hei flavour is just right. Their sweet and sour fish slices are fresh, I only wish they gave more fish slices since I paid $17 for a box. Salted fish fried rice was just the right amount of salty from the fish pieces and the rice wasn’t too salty to balance it out. Moonlight horfun(yueguanghorfun) is silky and wok hei flavour is there, only wish they could have given me green chillies. My seaweed soup came as a vegetable kind of soup, which tasted like your normal household soup without any particular flavour to it. Dining there might be abit crowded as it is quite a popular food haunt for the people that stay there, so order in if you want to !

We treated my siblings to dinner and we were all very pleased with the food. We ordered black pepper crabs, fish beehoon soup, fried kueh teow with fish slices, salted egg squid, ngoh hiang, Assam fish, sambal sweet potato leaves…the food quality was good, decent serving slices and mostly importantly, the food was very delicious. We will certainly be dining at this locale again.

Second visit here and still tastes good! We enjoyed every dish we had and will be back to try other dishes! The chicken wing is yummy and the curry fish was great too! Previously I ordered steamed meat with salted fish and it was enjoyable. Parking may be a bit challenging.

My usual dapao place for dinner when I have guest in town. Good prawn paste chicken and XO fish soup noodle and hor fun. Favourite to order is the crab bee hoon dry style. Dining there is not as pleasant and eating at home is more enjoyable for my family.

This place has a great food with Low price ! The place is rather hot. We love the san lau mee, the shrimp paste chicken is so so this time round. The sotong kang kong is salty. Good for gathering. Seats are limited so go earlier if you can. Gather a few friends and go and share dishes. This time round we didn’t order prawn roll which I love!

My favorite zi char outlet which is available in holland village and balestier. Serves Great food great price.must try the egg yolk fish skin and prawn paste chicken. Normally I will order a fish soup with milk base which boast of thick slices of fish. Many similar outlets are stingy with their fish but this chain really puts in generous portions
